@Curly_Biologist's resources for becoming a marine biologist (and more)! |
In 2022, I decided to start sharing what I have learned on my journey to becoming a shark scientist. Access to knowledge and advice when you're pursuing a career can be challenging especially when you do not know where to begin or don't have someone to help you.
I hope the below resources can make you feel more confident in yourself and your journey. I hope they can provide you with the tools and resources you have been unable to find to move forward in your career. Most of all, I hope they show you that there is no one correct way to become a marine scientist. Everyone's path looks different and that's ok.
As always, a reminder that my advice is based on my experiences. My advice is no more correct than someone else's. I encourage you to learn about the experiences of others, and move forward with the advice and tools you think will be most useful in your personal situation.
Cheers,
Amani

Guides by me!
A large part of my content involves what I call "Guides". These are slide posts focused around one topic, that are meant to produce advice and knowledge in an easily accessible way. Most of them are below (although I admit, I am bad at updating this page so please navigate to my Instagram for newer guides)!
